Golden-hour aerial view along a South Florida barrier island: waves breaking along a wide sand beach, low-rise homes and small condominium buildings on palm-lined streets, and the coastline receding toward a distant skyline.
Delray Beach · Boca Raton · Highland Beach

Boca to Delray, street by street.

I represent buyers and sellers along a narrow stretch of Palm Beach County coast — from the Highland Beach barrier island to the canal streets east of Federal Highway. Sotheby’s International Realty reach, with one person answering the phone.

Why work with me

Most agents cover three counties. I cover three towns, which is why I can tell you what a canal-front house on the wrong side of a fixed bridge actually costs you.

The markets

Three towns that price very differently.

A mile inland changes the number more than a bedroom does. Start with the town, then the street, then the house.

Selling

A price you can defend, not a number that flatters you.

An inflated list price costs you the first three weeks, which are the only weeks that matter. Here is how I get to a number instead of guessing at one.

Request your valuation
  1. I walk the house

Finishes, exposure, ceiling height, noise, flood zone. The things a computer estimate cannot see and a buyer notices in ninety seconds.

  2. I pull the real comparables

Closed sales on comparable streets, adjusted for water access, bridge height and lot orientation — not the county average.

  3. You get a written range

A defensible range with the reasoning attached, within 24 hours, so you can decide whether selling now even makes sense.

About

Alexa Scalone

Alexa Scalone represents buyers and sellers along the Delray Beach, Boca Raton and Highland Beach coast. She takes a deliberately small number of clients at a time, so the person who answers your call is the same person who walks the house, reads the comparables and negotiates the contract.

I work with a deliberately small number of clients at a time. If you call, I answer — and if I do not know a street well enough to advise you on it, I will say so.

Common questions

Before you call

What does it cost to have you value my home?

Nothing, and there is no obligation to list with me. I would rather you have an accurate number and decide not to sell than list at the wrong price with anyone.

Is this an instant online estimate?

No. Automated estimates work from public records and miss everything that actually moves the price on this coast — water access, bridge clearance, exposure, flood zone, renovation quality. I prepare the range by hand and send it within 24 hours.

Do I have to be ready to sell right now?

No. Most people who ask are twelve to eighteen months out and want to know whether the number justifies the move. That is a reasonable question and worth answering properly.

What areas do you actually cover?

Delray Beach, Boca Raton and Highland Beach, in Palm Beach County. I keep the area deliberately narrow. If you are looking outside it, tell me and I will refer you to someone who works that market properly.

Will I be handed off to an assistant?

No. You work with me directly, which is the main reason I limit how many clients I take at once.
