What is it like to live in Highland Beach?
Highland Beach is a small barrier-island town between Delray Beach and Boca Raton, and it is almost entirely residential. There is no commercial strip. The Atlantic sits on one side, the Intracoastal on the other, and A1A runs between them.
Where Highland Beach actually differs, block to block.
Oceanfront condominiums
The majority of what trades here. Direct beach access is the draw; building-by-building differences in reserves and assessments are the risk.
Intracoastal side
Generally lower entry than oceanfront, often with dockage. Sunset exposure rather than sunrise.
Single-family homes
A small and tightly held segment. When one comes up it tends to attract attention quickly.
What actually moves the number here.
These are the variables I check before giving anyone a price on a Highland Beach property. None of them appear in an automated estimate.

A mile in either direction changes the price more than an extra bedroom does. Read the guides to Delray Beach real estate, Boca Raton real estate and Highland Beach real estate side by side.
